Our apartments are located in the middle of the farm complex. You enjoy the highest possible comfort in a new building, but feel the charm of the original farm around you. You can choose between apartments in different sizes, depending on whether you want to spend time with us alone or as a couple, or whether you want to come to Salzburg with the whole family.
The region can be found everywhere
The many natural materials such as wood, stone, loden and linen make our apartments particularly cozy. Our philosophy is reflected in the style of the apartments: combining the traditional with the contemporary, using only the best of yesterday and today. Alpine architecture meets modern elements, warm larch and spruce wood from the region meets modern stone slabs from Rauris. After a fulfilling day in the city of Salzburg, at the lake or in the mountains, the Maifl Hof Apartements offer comfortable accommodation. Almost like home.
And when you look out of the window, the mountains seem close enough to touch. And yet the city of Salzburg
is only a stone’s throw away.

What equipment is available for babies?
We are happy to provide you with a crib / high chair for your little one free of charge, subject to availability.
How do I get to the nearest bus station?
You can reach the bus station “Am Römerstein” in Himmelreich on foot in approx. 8 minutes. From there, trolleybus lines 2 and 10 will take you to the center of Salzburg in under 30 minutes.
When is check-in possible?
Check-in is possible from 15:00. You are welcome to leave your car and luggage with us on the day of arrival before check-in.
By what time do I have to check out on the day of departure?
The apartments are available to you until 10:00 am on the day of departure. Depending on availability, you are welcome to leave your car and luggage with us for a few hours after check-out.
Which TV channels can I receive in the apartment?
You can receive cable TV with our televisions. German-language channels are programmed on the first 40 channel slots, then international channels begin and from channel slot 500 you can choose from many radio stations.
Is there a hairdryer in the apartments?
Is available in all apartments.
Can I have my luggage stored before or after my stay?
We will be happy to store your luggage in our storage room for a few hours on the day of arrival or departure.
Why can agricultural odors occur in the yard?
There is also a farm with livestock in the courtyard association. From time to time there may be “agricultural” smells and noises. We ask for your understanding!
Where can I park during my stay?
Please use our underground parking garage. Use of the garage is free of charge for our guests during their stay.
Are there radio stations on the television?
Several radio stations are programmed into the televisions from station position 500.
What about smoking in the building?
We are a NON-SMOKING OPERATION. Smoking is prohibited in the entire building! However, you can smoke on the balconies and terraces – you will also find ashtrays there.
Do I have access to a safe in the apartment?
A room safe is available in the apartment free of charge. You can read how to use it directly on the device.
Am I allowed to enter the stables and feed the animals?
Please note that it is not permitted to enter the stables and farm buildings. We also ask you NOT to feed the animals!
How can I order a cab?
You can reach Taxi 81-11 by calling (+43) 662 81 11 and stating the number of people: Madl Hof / Loigerstraße 12 / Wals
Is there a vending machine in the building?
You will find a vending machine in the foyer. You can purchase various products there (also cashless).
How can I do laundry?
This is available from us in the form of a self-service in the cellar. Just ask us about it – we’ll be happy to help you!
How do I get into the W-Lan?
Our W-Lan is available to you free of charge.
